I am looking for info on my gg-grandparents. Russell Ross born in 1834 in Monroe Co. GA. His parents were Robert & Elizabeth Ross. Russell married Elizabeth (Pound I think) in abt. 1852/53.They were together on the 1860 Monroe Co. GA Census in the Redbone Dist. They had a son John W born in 1854 and a son Sidney born 1858. Russell was in the Civil War in 1861-63 and in 1863 remarries to Mary Ann Amanda Powell. There are some Varners, Huldah Ann Barnes, in connection to this family.
