Hello! I need to ask a favor. Would someone in Monroe County please find out for me who are the people who now live in the old Dewberry Plantation house and send me their name and address? I am planning on visiting Monroe County in the spring and would like to visit this house as it was my ancestor's home, Thomas Dewberry and Aseneth "Siney' Laws Dewberry. I would like to write these people ahead of time and obtain permission to visit the grounds and basically let them know I am coming there! I will also need directions. I have heard that the graveyard there is way overgrown. Does anyone have a listing who all is buried there? A nice gentleman wrote me sometime back that Siney was the first one to be buried there and her headstone and that of Thomas were the only ones a person could get to. My main goal is to find my great grandmother's grave (Louise Remshart Watkins) and I suspect she is buried there. Thank you in advance for any help anyone is able to give me.
