James PERDUE died in Monroe Co. in Dec 1862. His first wife, Polly HOWARD, died there in Dec 1825. His second wife, Elizabeth HORSLEY, died there in Sept 1854. Six children of the second marriage were all born in Monroe Co.: Caroline, Green, James, Hiram, Enoch, and Elijah. Caroline Perdue married Henry PRATER in Monroe Co. Feb 1845.
