Mr. Winton helped me some, but his family is---according to him--another McEveen family--not McEvain. Of course, the spelling doesn'r concern me, so I havce chewcked all of his fmaily aout and his suggested clues, but can't seem to find the parents or father of Danil McEvain. The library in Columbia right now is being "over hauled" and in 2 weeks I hope to return there again for some more research.
