My great-great grandfather was Needham Hatcher and is buried at Mt Enid Church which is on Stage Coach Road in Mitchell County. I have documentation showing that Needham Hatcher bought land in Mitchell county 7/14/1883 (lot 80) 9th district. This is currently where my family lives. I am trying to find out who Needham R Hatcher's father was so I can find out when my family came to this area. I believe they came from the Edgefield South Carolina area in the early 1800's.
