Hi Blendia, >>I hope that you will be able to follow these Marriages. I also that they will help you. << Thanks so much for the Marriage Information. My SAPP research in still in it's infancy. Harmon D. was my 2nd GGF. I have been looking for a record of their marriage for several years. Harmon D. served in Co. C (Mitchell Van Guards), 51st GA Infantry. Martha said in her application for a Confederate widows pension that they were married in Decatur County on 9 Apr 1860, however they were apparently living in Mitchell County at least by 1861/62. I have been unable to find a marriage record for them. One of the WEBB marriages jumped out at me! Zachary T. WEBB was my GGF's baby brother. This family of WEBBs were basically an Early County family and I would have never thought to look in Mitchell County for their marriage. Mary GEE was his second wife. She and Zachary T. are buried in the Damascus Cemetery down in Early County. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my query. Ed Edward P.
