Does anyone have any Whites in Meriwether? I have come across John and L. White (with their children)in the 1850 Meriwether census. The eldest son listed is a Wm., age 21, attending school, and was born in NC, as were both of his parents and some of his siblings. My known ancestor, William Robert White was born in NC and could probably be this same fellow. My Wm. Robert White married Mary Jane Shackelford in Meriwether in 1852. Please can anyone be of assistance? Thank you - Ann
