My mother grew up in Meriwether Co. She was born in 1920. A few years ago I had her write her childhood memories down on paper for me. It is not professional but well done and tells much about what it was like to grow up in that time period. It's fairly long, about 30 handwritten pages, I forget how many typed. If anyone is interested in reading it I would be glad to share it. She was raised on a farm. She talks about how they did the laundy, the types of stoves they used and how excited they were to get a new "Aladdin Lamp. Let me know if anyone is interested. Cari
