Sybil, The only book I have at home is Ms. Pinkston's book on the history of Meriwether County and I don't see him listed in the index. There are 3 other Thompson's listed but no a Robert. I will be glad to save your message and see if I find anything next time I'm at our local library. Do you have any other info on him? Which community he lived in? Wife's name?
