Mrs. Lottie Allen and Miss Dora Parker spent last Tuesday at Mrs. Mary Johnson's. Messrs. Clarence Cook and Charlie Pickard spent Monday night with J.H. and H.J. Parker. Mr. Tack Parker has been quite sick the past week, but is better at this writing. Mr. J.E. Moore spent last Wednesday night with the family of J.H. Parker. Mrs. Allen is spending this week with the family of Mr. Buck Parker. Mr. J.L. Taylor spent Saturday night with Messrs. John and Willie Parker. Miss Dora Johnson spent Saturday night and Sunday with Misses Alma Bura and Dora Parker. Misses Bura Parker and Lonie Johnson spent last Saturday in Buena Vista. Mr. J.B. Sims visited friends at Japanese last Sunday. Messrs. Lon Battle, Frank Noell, Henry and H.H. Harris, John Sims, Bill and Yond Johnson, Wes Tyler and Walter Nelson visited Japanese last Sunday. Misses Lonie, Fannie Mae and Ida Johnson spent last Sunday with relatives at Japanese. Hendrick has returned from Dawson, where he spent a week very pleasantly with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Taylor visited Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Johnson Sunday. Messrs. Sam and Henry Harris, Bill and Cliff Johnson, Frank Hale, Lon Battle, John Sims, David Bullock and Wes Tylor (Tyler?) were the guests at Japanese Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. T.J. McClung, of Columbus, spent Saturday night with the family of Mr. Tom McClung. Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Parker attended preaching at Brantley Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Johnson, of Parade Springs, spent Saturday with Mrs. Mary Johnson. Messrs. J.H. and John Parker, Will Blythe, and Misses Lonie Johnson and Mae Parker attended the singing at Galacia (Galatia?) Sunday afternoon. Mr. W.J. Ford and little girl, Annie Mae, from Phoenix City, Ala., are spending this week with friends at Japanese and Parade Springs. Miss Abbie Hendrick spent Saturday evening with Miss Addie Carter at Brantley. Messrs. J.H. Parker and David Bullock spent Saturday with C.F. Lancaster at Thortonville. Sam Harris and Frank Noell visited the home of Mrs. G.W. Johnson last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Parker visited relatives at Japanese and Parade Springs last Sunday. Messrs. B.F. Hendrick and John Parker left Tuesday for Fort Valley, where they will spend two weeks with relatives. Miss Bura Parker is spending this week in Buena Vista with her brother, Wilbur J. Parker. Misses Julia and Blanche Youngblood, of Juniper, spent part of last week with the families of J.H. and H.J. Parker. Mr. J.L. Taylor and Miss Blanche Youngblood attended the teachers institute in Buena Vista. Mr. Ben Johnson, of Bronwood, spent Saturday and Sunday with homefolks. Mr. and Mrs. Watts Tyler spent last Sunday with the family of H.J. Parker. Mr. Wes Tyler and sister, Miss Mattie, spent Saturday and Sunday with the family of Mr. Tack Parker.
