I don't know about the REST of you-but I enjoy figuring out-who folks are-on here-(if possible) and how they are connected. For Instance: Friends Edna Knighton-of Shellman, Randolph, Ga and Marguerite Drane-of Marion Co Ga. Edna is the child of Joseph Knighton and Georgia McMichael- I know of no Knighton connection-but Georgia's Father and Mother are from Marion Co-Thomas Jefferson McMichael (son of Seaborn) and Mary Ann Aven (dtr of John) The Drane Connection-probably is a bit more round about-and I would say-they were JUST friends-but there is usually a relationship somewhere in the background. In this case- Georgia was raised by her Brother-in-law William Nathaniel Brown and sister Mary Jane McMichael-after her parents were drowned- Her brother-in-law was born Marion-child of George A. Brown and grandson of William M. Brown (And he and Mary Jane were married in Marion at home of his Grandfather Wm M.) William M's dtr Eugenia-married William W. Drane-a cousin of William Author-Father of Marguerite-back down the line-but I see no closer connection.
