Blank Just a note to let you know what's going on. I sent a pension application to the list today for T.J. McGarrah. Some of you got it some of you didn't. The ones who didn't with one exception were all AOL users (roughly 20% of the list members). It seems that AOL has adopted a position that if it, in its sole descretion determines that certain e-mail addresses, servers, or message profiles seem to be spam then they simply block all mail from that source. A message that accompanied the returned mail said that they had determined the server I was using had many complaints from their users about bulk e-mail coming from my server. This may be true, but is that justification to shut it ALL down. I don't send bulk unsolicited mail. If you are an AOL user, in essence they are censoring your mail and deciding what you will and will not receive. This may be fine for some, but for me, I feel it is misuse of a service for which the subscriber has paid. I don't like spam at all and I get a lot of it, but I would resent paying for a service where others decide (rather poorly, I might add) what mail I did or did not receive. If you are an AOL user and should be fortunate enough to receive this, and you feel their actions go beyond that of prudent reasonable managers of a business, I encourage you to contact them and tell AOL how you feel. I'll keep trying to get the mail through to all the list members. Harris
