The Schley County News Thursday, November 2, 1893 No.43 Old man Ridgly Hogg was acquitted in Marion Superior Court, of the charge of murdering David Shippey. His two sons did the killing in the presence of the old man, and it was thought he was implicated. The boys have never been arrested.
