    1. April Tracer arrived

    3. I am so thrilled to read the April Tracer. "The Forgotten Travelers Rest Cemeteries" is the feature article, and John discusses how he has gone about trying to locate graves of ancestors. (you'll pick up some good hints) He emphasizes how important it is for all of us to be involved with protecting these small cemeteries that are being threatened. He includes some wonderful photos of tombstones in the Travelers Rest Baptist Church (and there is also a Methodist Church Cemetery as well) With each featured tombstone he has provided information about the person when he was able to locate them. Another interesting feature is James Gray's Sinclair Station in Butler...1950's. If you lived in Taylor County during this time, you'll especially enjoy these pages and a trip down memory lane to the "filling station". 1928 Reynolds Basketball Team (all identified) Reynolds Music Class (all identified) 1910 Reynolds Baseball Team (all identified) And of course pages and pages of 1908 Butler Herald abstracts. Let us know if you don't receive any issue. And remember to take a copy to your local library and encourage them to subscribe. This monthly bulletin provides so much information for anyone researching in west central Georgia...not just Taylor County. Virginia
