Wilson celebrated his 77th birthday on the eighth inst. He had with him his children, grandchildren and a few friends. Miss Kate Woolridge and Rev. Hugh F. Oliver, of Buena Vista, were the guests of Capt. Wilson Thursday, the 8th. The children of the Pineville High School, little friends of Capt. Wilson, dined with him last Thursday. “Pigs in the Blanket,” “Toads in the Hole” and “Angels on Horseback” with other dainties were served. The old folks and especially the school children desire that Rev. Oliver will not make this his last visit to our city.
