He had lived in Hartford 55 years; was predeceased by his son, MacArthur Blue. He was the husband of Lovely Porter. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bessie B Napier of Decatur, GA; a brother William Blue of Hartford; 9 grandchildren.
