McClung Drops Dead Mr. T.J. McClung, of near Parade Springs in the northern part of the county, dropped dead in his yard early Tuesday morning and was buried Wednesday. Mr. McClung had been quite sick for some time but not confined to his room. He spent some days in Buena Vista some weeks ago the guest of his daughter, Mrs. W.J. Parker, while taking treatment. Parker Died Tuesday Mrs. W.J. Parker died Tuesday morning at 4 oclock and was buried Tuesday afternoon in the cemetery here. Mrs. Parker has been sick with typhoid fever for some weeks. Every care and attention was given, but the disease was of a malignant form and could not be mastered. It was while she was so sick that her father, Mr. McClung died. She leases a husband and little child, about 7 months old, besides a mother and other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church by Rev. W.T. Stewart and Rev. Hugh F. Oliver. The afflicted family have the sympathy of everyone.
