I am looking for the parents of Menda J. Barnes, AKA Mendy or Mendie. She was born 8 August 1877 and died on 23 July 1916 after being struck by lightning. She married Henry C. Allen (b. 13 February 1872, d. 1 April 1947), son of Mathew S. Allen and Synthia Adline. Henry and Menda had one son, Leonard Coile Allen (b. 23 December 1899, d. 29 May 1938).
