Hi Sorry for the delay, as I have been at the Nashville Archives and therefore out of pocket for a few days. You may already have an answer, as I am wading through close to 200 messages since Friday. I am the listowner. It is a new list. I have no problem with a roll call, however I will not provide addresses without the permission of the owner of the address. Anyone who responds to the roll call has in effect published their name to the list. As to lookups, I have no problem with offers to do lookups as long as you have read and agree to abide by the GAGenWeb policy on lookups. See below: -------------------------------------------------------------------- GaGenWeb's Official Policy GAGenWeb will not tolerate any copyright violations. Lookup requests should be limited to one name, or perhaps two if it is a married couple. Information given will be minimal, for example if it is a cemetery lookup, the information will be the name of the cemetery and the dates on the headstone. Please do not ask for "everybody with X surname" or an entire family group, or for hardcopies to be mailed; the volunteers have been asked not to comply with such requests. Our lookups will extend to searching the book to determine if the book would be helpful to you in your research. Should the book prove useful, we may be able to provide the authors address and ordering information. -------------------------------------------------------- Also http://www.rootsweb.com/~gamadiso/sources.htm has a list of known lookup persons. I hope this helps.
