Searching for information on the Hempill and Stephens family of Madison Co. in the early to mid 1800. Records indicate, Lucinda, Matilda, and William married into the Hemphill family with Lucinda marring Pleasant (1831), Matilida marring Thomas (1829), and William marring William. Any info on families greatly appreicated. Interested to know if all of the Hemphill's were of the same family and who were the parents of the Stephens.
