"Returns in the Estate of Rozel Burroughs, decd for 1836" contain an item (Copy of Receipts) where Pamelia Burroughs paid for 40 days notice to debtors and creditors and 40 days notice of Sale of Property, payment being received Mar 26, 1836 to the "Southern Whig." This appears to have been a newspaper published in that area and time frame. Can anyone enlighten me on this newspaper? Ken Leaird
