Sherman You might look at the census records first. The Madison Co., GA Censuses 1820-60 (book) has a Slave Schedule for 1860 which says that Jacob Eberhart had 39 male slaves and 41 female slaves. The names of the slaves are not listed but their age, sex and color is. You can go to the microfilm to look up the 1870 and 1880 Madison Co Censuses which will have full names with other information. I don't know where you live but if the Madison Co Census book is not in your library, please let me know and I will copy the information for you.
