    3. Nancy, Ooh! I'm interested in your Erskle HAWKS! I have Elizabeth Hawks b.1776 in NC, married Alexander HUMAN 1810 in Madison. Living next to them in 1820-30 is Frederick HAWKS (who I know all about, and think is Elizabeth's father, but can't prove it). There was an Edward HAWKS of Oglethorpe who had dealings with the Humans in 1840s. This Edward Hawks married a Miss GLOER (another Human also married a Gloer). I can't link any of these HAWKS together for sure, but it seems they must be connected! Who's your Erskel?
