Hi, I have a tip about reading the wonderful Madison County census records. I have tried everything I could think of to make them easier to read, including putting them into a photo program and trying to clear them up. No luck. Just recently I stumbled on the simplest solution and want to share it just in case there is someone out there besides me who did not know about it... smile. Turning up the resolution on the monitor enlarges the writing beautifully, without compromising the integrity. Its amazing how much more detail can be seen. I am not sure how this is done on a PC, but on the Mac, just go to the APPLE in the upper left hand corner, scroll down to CONTROL PANEL and from there down to MONITORS. Nothing to it. Perhaps someone could give directions for PC. Anne Booth
