I'm looking for info on my ggg-grandmother, Keziah Freeman, b. Sept 27, 1814, d. Feb 14, 1866, m. Willis Deen in Madison Co, August 29 or 30, 1838 (Marriage book says 29th, family bible transcription says 30th). I recently found one old (1999) query from Judie Eaves, which indicated Keziah's parents may have been Joel Freeman and Elizabeth Ware of Virginia, who moved to GA in approximately 1802. Siblings may have been James C., Matthew S., William J., Elizabeth, Agnes W. and Joel N. Also possible David P., Frederick, and Thomas W. Freeman were siblings, according to Judie's query; Keziah's birthday listed as 1813 in the same query. I've attempted contacting Judie directly, but have not received any response. Does any one have any ideas/leads/info? I've seen some contributed info on the worldconnect project, but none of it mentions Keziah, only Matthew S. and some of his descendants. I know there was a Joel Freeman living near the Deen households in Madison County throughout the census records, but have not been able to determine if Joel was Keziah's father, other than through Judie's query. Willis Deen was the son of Thomas Wesley Deen and Elizabeth Phillips; grandparents were Shadrick/Shadrack and Mourning Deen. The Deen name is frequently misspelled as Dean; in the mid to late 1800's, some family members did take the D-E-A-N spelling. Thanks for your help! _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
