I am at a impasse in researching my paternal grandmother's family. I know that she was the daughter Leila Dawson and John Thomas Spence, and granddaughter of Fred Dawson and Elizabeth ??. Even though I have conflicting data on date of birth, I believe that the Fred Dawson (listed below as number 1) might be the same person as Frederick Dawson (listed below as number 2).
