I have tracked my GGG Grandfather Tillman Thomas Anderson Sr. by his marriage to Martha Baxter on 8/24/1828 in Madison County GA. I have the marriage record. I believe that Tillman Sr. died about 1830 after his son, my GG Grandfather, Tillman Jr. was born. I recently found through 1820 census records from Madison County that several Andersons, John N, John S, James, Jacob & Terrel residing in Madison County. Through Madison County court records I know that John N was the father of John S, James, Jacob & Terrel. Furthermore, I know that Martha Baxter was the daughter of James Baxter. James Baxter also appears in the 1820 census in Madison County. Through this information I believe that either James or Jacob was the father of Tillman Thomas Anderson Sr. I am asking for any assistance or direction that you could provide.
