I am seeking the records of the older Hebron church that was before the Mt. Hermon Church that was built in 1912 in Ila, GA. John "Jack" Freeman gave the land for the old church and I am seeking the burial site for John and his family. His son, David P. Freeman, was on the building committee for the new church. Apparently, these two Hebron churches were built on the old McCarter plantation. Could someone tell me if the records for the old Hebron church can be found? Where would these records have gone, if a new church was built? Anita
