It is difficult for me to determine exactly where he lived because at that time it was part of the old enlarged Franklin County. He has been listed as living on Gorhams Fork of the Hudson River and the "Shole Branch of Broad River". He also was listed as being in District 7 of the 3rd Division of Franklin County in 1798, between 1800 and 1805 as being in Cpt Epperson's District or Company and in Cpt Wyley's Return in 1810. Is there a map for sale or a book that shows the locations of the rivers and/or the various districts/company locations? Would like to share information with anyone interested in the above surnames. An Ezikiel and a James HILLIAN/HILLIN were living in the same area about the same time.
