>From what I have been able to piece together my maternal direct COLEMAN line married additional COLEMAN lines. It appears the COLEMAN lines originated in Knockmore Ballina County Mayo Backs Parish. My grandfather Peter J. COLEMAN together with his mother Winifred and his siblings came to the US in 1895 via New York. It then appears the family spread to Scranton, Pennsylvania; Honesdale, PA; Anaconda/Butte, Montana; Athens, Georgia; and many of the COLEMANS headed for New Zealand. Generation No. 1 1.
