DIED.--In Madison County, Ga. on the 4th inst. of consumption, Mr. Jasper B. Pittman, in the 25th year of his age. In the death of Mr. Pittman, Madison County has been bereft of one of its best citizens. He was at the time of his death clerk of the Superior Court of Madison County and his official duties were discharged tot he perfect satisfaction of all. When told that he must die, he said he was ready and felt perfectly reconciled to the will of God. Besides his family, Mr. Pittman leaves a large circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn his untimely loss.
