The main name I am looking for is Obediah Britt. I found a reference to a Carlton Baptist Church, located in Madison Co. Perhaps, Obediah was a member of that church. This Obediah was dismissed from a Darian Baptist Church in Washington County, Ga. in 1831. I am thinking that Obediah came to Washington Co. from Madison Co., maybe. The Britts from Washington Co., ended up in Crawford County. If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you!
