My ggpa was Jesse Glenn Westbrook, who is buried at Trinity Methodist Church near Cromer's Mill, Georgia. My gpa was Robert Johnson Westbrook, M.D., who is buried at Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church in Ila, Georgia. His brother George Washington Westbrook, M.D., is buried conspicuously in the same cemetery. Did they switch churches because of something that happened during Reconstruction? Or was it just a matter of convenience? I'd appreciate any information or intelligent comments.
