Hello: I was reading through the military records found in the archived pages and realized that I also have some of your men who served in Company B, C & D of the 1st Georgia Reserves (Fannin's). The older men & young boys who served in this regiment were caught up in Governor Brown's 1864 militia census and served as guards at the Andersonville Prison. Please visit my webpages honoring these men when you have time & perhaps you might find others that I am not yet aware of that were from Madison County, GA. It can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/csareserve1/index.html Below are the men I have documented that listed Madison County as their places of residence at the time of enlistment. They certainly deserve their rightful places in history also, so please feel free to place these men in your archives if you wish. I'll be updating more on my webpages in the very near future.
