What I have is that Alsey/Elsey Strickland was the dau of John Williams b ca 1766 in Warrenton NC. His will has him deceased before 17 Aug 1849 Madison CO GA. He married Frances Watson b ca 1766 in England? and d ca1851. Alsa was the sister to my Nancy Williams who married her first cousin Robert Williams, Jr. Robert Sr m Fanny (Frances) Flanagan. Would love to exchange info....................

    2. Betty, Well, I had a first cousin (twice removed) named Clifford BURROUGHS of Madison County who married Maude E. EPPS. Clifford lived from 1891-1974 and Maude lived 1897-1976. They had a daughter Annie Ruth Burroughs who was born about 1917, and that's about all I know of that line. I also have a second cousin named BROOKS who married a Raymond EPPS in Clark County.     3. Mrs. Martha Dye (Georgia) Thermo King retiree WRENS, Ga. -- Mrs. Martha Jane Dye, 68, of 1832 Bob Arrington Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at University Hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at James & Lowe Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry A. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Wrens City Cemetery. Mrs. Dye, a native of Madison County, had retired from Thermo King. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. The family said, ``She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother and a true Christian lady.'' Survivors include her husband, William E. Dye; four daughters, Mary Jane Wilson, Harlem, Wanda Vinson, Thomson, Faye Godowns, Louisville, and Kaye McNeal, Wrens; two brothers, Ulyss Sellers, Thomson, and Jimmy Lee Sellers, Warrenton; four sisters, Susie Ussery, Thomson, Marion Flynn, St. Augustine, Fla., Sara A. Burrows or Burroughs. He was married to a Dessie Alewine. First appears on the Madison, Danielsville Dist., 1910 Ga. Census. Any information on this family would be appreciated. I know that at some point in time they went to Arizona. Dessie Alewine is my Grandfathers sister.
