    3. Posted on: Madison Co. Ga Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Ga/Madison/10201 Surname: YOUNG ------------------------- I am looking for info on a YOUNG family that was in Madison Co. Ga. in 1820. Charlotte YOUNG was born 1784. I do not know her maiden name. In the 1830 census it shows 1 male 5 to 10 years old which I believe to be her youngest son, Reuben R. YOUNG. It shows 1 female 10-15 years old and 1 female 40-50 years old. Charlotte YOUNG also had a son, William "Billy" YOUNG that we believe married Mariann/Miriam COLLEY 20 Feb. 1825 in Madison Co. Ga. and had 6 children: Seaborn Hamilton YOUNG-1828, Tilith Amanda YOUNG-1829, Elizabeth "Betsy" YOUNG-1831, James R. YOUNG-1834, John Henderson YOUNG-1836 & William Sanders YOUNG-1838. This YOUNG family left Georgia and went to Barbour Co. Ala. where Mariann?Miriam COLLEY YOUNG died in 1840. In 1842 William "Billy" YOUNG marries second to Elizabeth McCARROL in Barbour Co. Ala. and they have 6 children: Warren Perry YOUNG, Warner Reuben YOUNG, Mary Susan YOUNG, Amanda Irene YOUNG, Nancy Catherine YOUNG & Charlotte "Lotte" YOUNG. These YOUNG's leave Barbour Co. Ala. @1850 and settle at Rocky Mount, Louisiana in Bossier Parish. If you know these YOUNG's please contact me. Thanks, Kay

    1. BRITTs in Madison Co, and Crawford County AND Carlton Baptist Church
    2. Rozine
    3. Posted on: Madison Co. Ga Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Madison/10194 Surname: Britt ------------------------- I would like to communicate with anyone having information on any BRITTs who were in Madison County around the early 1800s. The main name I am looking for is Obediah Britt. I found a reference to a Carlton Baptist Church, located in Madison Co. Perhaps, Obediah was a member of that church. This Obediah was dismissed from a Darian Baptist Church in Washington County, Ga. in 1831. I am thinking that Obediah came to Washington Co. from Madison Co., maybe. The Britts from Washington Co., ended up in Crawford County. If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you!
