He was in Elbert Co., GA for the 1820 & 1830 censuses, then in Madison Co., for the 1840 & 1850 censuses, and then in Greene Co., GA for the 1860 & 1870 censuses. He was married to Martha DAVIS. His son, William Greene LANGSTON was my gg grandfather, b. 16 Apr 1816, Danielsville, Madison Co., GA; died 29 Apr 1868, buried Penfield Cemetery, Penfield, Greene Co., GA. He was married to Frances Matilda (Fanny) POLK daughter of Ezekiel POLK and Malissa Elizabeth (Betsy) PHILLIPS. William Greene Langston & Fanny POLK were married about 1839 unknown county.
