SHARP PASSED AWAY - Mrs. Lilly Sharp, wife of Mr. Charles A. Sharp, died at her home in Montezuma last Tuesday morning. She had been suffering for some time with peliagra, which disease caused her death. > The news of Mrs. Sharp's death was a severe shock to her large circle of Oglethorpe friends, many of whom did not know she was ill. A number immediately went to Montezuma to offer aid and sympathy to the bereaved family and to again look upon the face of a true, sympathizing, Christian wife, mother and friend. > Mrs. Sharp is survived by her husband and five children, among whom is Mrs. Arthur Cloud of this city. > She was laid to rest in the Montezuma Cemetery Wednesday afternoon, thus closing the last chapter in a life profusely marked with acts of love, charity and self-sacrifices. > [Note: I do NOT find a marked grave in Felton Cemetery for Mrs. Lilly Sharp. BUT - According to the 1900 Macon Co., ga. Census she was born about 1870 and died March 5, 1912 and she had 4 children at that time, Annie F. Sharp , Ola B.Sharp, Alma R Sharp . and Charles J.Sharp]. > > > This is an automatically-generated notice. > > <http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/MaconObits?admin> > >
