RODGERS PASSES AWAY - On Thursday evening, May 15, as twilight was softly descending, the spirit of Mr. H. L. Rodgers quietly passed into eternity. Although he had been in failing health for several weeks, his death came as a shock to many of his friends. His condition proved serious about ten days ago and he was carried to the Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta for further consultation and treatment, however he never rallied. > Mr. Rodgers was forty six years old and had lived all of his life in Macon County. He leaves throughout the county a large host of friends and relatives who mourn his death.
