My GG-Grandmother, Nancy BATEMAN, was born in Macon Co, GA on 04 Sept. 1830 (was married to John Fletcher HARMON). I believe that her parents were living in Macon Co, GA. for a time before & after her birth. Their names were Theophilus BATEMAN, his wife, Jemima McDONALD. They were married in Bibb Co, GA. 15 Oct. 1829. They had 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. I have only the birthdate of Nancy. Nothing is known by me of Jemima's McDonald family, so any info. about them would also be appreciated. On the Washington County, GA, 1830 Federal Census Theophilus's name appears along with several other BATEMAN's names. I believe Bryant BATEMAN is his father, & Claibourn BATEMAN his grandfather. At the time (1830) there are three boys & one girl shown in Theophilus' household under 10 years of age. One young man between 16 to 18 & two young women between 16 to 26 years of age. There appears to be one man! > 26 to 45 years old and one woman 45 years up. Any help with these families will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time & help!. > > > This is an automatically-generated notice. > > <http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Macon?admin> > >
