Can anyone identify the Jim and John Murphy listed on page 362 in "THe History of Macon County, Georgia" by Hays? There is also a John Murphy, age 55, in the 1860 census of Macon County in the 1070 District, wife Elizabeth, age 50, daughters Martha, age 17, and Sarah, age 8. Could Elizabeth possibly have been a Coogle before marrying and the Murphy was her second marriage? I am trying to find a connection as to why Alonzo Coogle was living in the household in the 1860 census, age 13. Any help would be appreciated. Martha
