STUBBS PASSES AWAY - After a period of failing health extending through the past few months, Mr. B. F. Stubbs suddenly passed away last Friday norming, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T. J. Slappey. His death, while not entirely unexpected, was a great shock to his many friends. > A few days before his death he remarked that he was feeling better than usual, and when the summons came, he was sitting in his chair, reading. > He lived to be fifty nine years old and lived an upright life, without reproach. He served many positions of trust, and was true to every duty. He was a loving father, a patriotic citizen, a true and loyal friend. He was a member of the Baptist Church and left two children, Mrs. T. J. Slappey of Oglethorpe and Mr. T. E.
