Old family bible pages note that my great great grandmother, Sarah Jane Underwood, wife of Josiah Hill died very young and that her children were raised by her Underwood grand parents. One of her children, William Hill had his name passed on to my dad who was William Hill Bowen, then on to me and I became William Hill Bowen Jr. I don't think anyone should have a JR tacked on their name. An interesting thing is that my Mother's family was Clark and that her great great grandfather, Richard Clark was also from Macon County, GA and ended up moving to Jefferson County Florida.
