Inferior Court Minutes 1836-1852 pg. 225 - 4 Jan. 1836 I found the following information: JOSEPH EDWARDS appointed guardian of JAMES F. EDWARDS, JOHN W. EDWARDS, CAROLINE EDWARDS, ELIZABETH EDWARDS, AND WILLIAM B. EDWARDS orphans of WILLIAM B. EDWARDS late of Washington Co. deceased, on his giving bond to the clerk in the sum of $1300 with ELIAS JORDAN as his security. Elias Jordan was my ggggrandfather; he was married to Lavinia EDWARDS. b. 1798 in Washington co. Ga. They lived in the section of Houston co. which became a part of Macon co. about 1838. I am particularly interested in information about Joseph EDWARDS, guardian of the orphans of William B. EDWARDS. Following Elias Jordan's death in 1840, the census lists Lavina Edwards Jordan (Jourdin) as head of household #555 next to John Edwards as head of Household #556. I am trying to determine whether the family of William B. Edwards (of Washington co.) & Joseph Edwards is connected to my Lavinia Edwards Jordan. Thanks for any help. Dorothy Clark Baker
