It was also known a very long time ago as OAK GROVE CEMETERY. Just a guess - Since Georgia Ann Shepherd, daughter of William Riley Shepherd married Allen Barfield and is buried in the Barfield Shepherd Cemetery, I think [?] that the Pleasant Green Shepherd [8-5-1884 - 8-23-1884] & the L. Shepherd [1-5-1884 - 8-10-1887] are both children of William Riley Shepherd and his 3rd wife, Sallie M. Smith [m'd 5-30-1876] The 1880 Census Taylor Co., Ga. SHEPHERD, William R. 49 [s/o Labon & Lavicie Adams Shepherd m. 1st Arrena Dyess 1850 Talbot Co., Ga. m. 2nd Martha Jane Posey 1865, m.3rd Sallie M.Smith 1866. Mary [Allman] 4th wife 35 m. 11-1-1877 Taylor Co., Ga.
