The Pleasant Green SHEPHERD buried in the Barfield Shepherd Cemetery in Taylor Co., GA (5 Aug 1884- 23 Aug 1884) is NOT the Pleasant Green SHEPHERD (29 Jun 1835-03 Dec 1915) who m. 1st wife was Anna Elizabeth JOHNSON and 2nd.Frances Ella LINDSEY. Pleasant Green SHEPHERD (29 Jun 1835-03 Dec 1915 s/o Laban & Lavicy SHEPHERD) 1st wife, Anna Elizabeth JOHNSON was buried in this cemetery, along with three of their twelve children: Calista; Heny O.; Mary Elizabeth. Not sure who are the parents of the L. SHEPHERD (5 Jan 1884-10 Aug 1887) or Pleasant Green SHEPHERD (5 Aug 1884- 23 Aug 1884) both of who are buried in this cemetery. If the dates are correct, they could NOT be children of Pleasant Green SHEPHERD (29 Jun 1835-03 Dec 1915 s/o Laban & Lavicy SHEPHERD) and his 1st wife Anna Elizabeth JOHNSON as they had a son Henry O. born 6 Mar 1884.
