Found living in Lexington County, SC in the 1850 Census and in Alabama in th 1860 Census. Two children shown as being born in Macon, GA - one in 1855 and the other in 1859. Another child may have died and be buried in Macon. Are there any local census records from that time period? Is there a city directory? Any help appreciated. Can help with SC research.

The city of Macon, Georgia is in BIBB COUNTY. The towns in Macon County are: Marshallville, Montezuma, Oglethorpe and Ideal. Please try Bibb County. BEST OF LUCK.
