Will try again. My family also came from Macon, Ga. in the late 1600's thru learly 1818. My family of Rousseau/Duriso,Durouzeaux,Deerisaw,Dearisaw, among the many ways it has peen spelled. My family licludes Richard Deen/dean. I am searching for Micajah Dean who married Rhoda Hinson and they had a daughter Mary Ann Dean who married the only child of William Henry Rousseau, b. 9 March 1818. We believe his father to have been John Lewis Rousseau who married (Mary Carter?) Much info is available on the Indians in the Georgia area, but not all in one place. You will have to search "Native American", Creek Indians, etc to find any info. I have a great deal on Daniel Durouzeaux who married "a Creek Indian woman".
