I had never hear of this book. By the way, the Payne family is related to a Rousseau family starting inS.C., Va. Hilliare Rousseau. This was in the early 1700's. If you check in the Va., S.C. records, it seems many of the families migrated to Ga. If you can get back to about 1795, I believe that is when the Paynes married in.
