January 2, 1964 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR BENJAMIN HAMM HELD SUNDAY. Funeral services for Benjaminb J. Hamm, 86, who died Friday at his home, were held at 1:30 P.M.Sunday in the Congregational Holiness Church in Montezuma. The Rev. H. F. Royals officiated and burial was in OCILLA CITY CEMETERY in Ocilla. Pallbearers were Allen Payne, Herman Layfield, Benny Lockedrman, Edward Layfield, Arthur Lee Massey and Edward Lockerman. Mr. Hamm, a native of Irwin County, has lived in Montezuma for the past 40 years. He was a retired watch repairman and a member of the Baptist denomination. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Alice Hamm of Montezuma, and Mrs. J. P. Joyce of Warner Robins; a brother, Elsie Hamm of Madison, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Jeff Dixon of Madison, Fla.; a grandchild and ghree great-grandchildren.
